Latvian National men's team brings gold from Berlin Open 2018

From June 6 to 8, Berlin hosted annual Berlin Open, biggest tournament in Europe, with participation Latvia National team. Winning in all 7 games, Team Latvia brings home gold. Latvians has entered the tournament final for four consecutive year, winning tournament two times.

This tournament in Berlin was planned as final stage of preparations before FIL World Championships in Israel. Despite the fact that this year's competition was smaller than other years (usually 20 teams, this year only 7), coaching staff managed to test prepared tactical drawings against different teams. Testing brought 6 group stage wins and a solid win in tournament final. Scored and lost goals – 91 against 12.

World Championships take place once every four years and this will be 13th World Championship. This is the first time it's held outside of usual organizers - United States, Canada, Australia and England. Four years ago, Canada won, but most titles are still held by United States (9).
